1960s

Our story begins in 1963 with the meeting between an ambitious young executive, Abdelmohsen Al-Qattan and Hajj Khaled Yussef Al-Mutawwa.

Mr. Al-Qattan was fresh from a job as Deputy Director General of Kuwait’s Water and Electricity Ministry, responsible for overseeing major infrastructure projects, including the first ever provision of fresh water to Kuwait City, while Hajj Khaled Al-Mutawwa was one of Kuwait’s most respected and successful businessmen.

This was the beginning of a solid, family partnership that continues to this day.
